Beauty Desk Essentials In March
WHEN you spend almost as much time at your desk as you do in your home, it makes sense to have a good edit of beauty essentials on hand to call upon throughout the working day.
NARS
Velvety matte skin is very much the finish we're after for this spring, and this NARS powder is just the way to achieve it. Perfect for mattifying oily areas throughout the day, it also features antioxidants to prevent drying.
Clarins
A lip balm that really does make your lips feel softer, as well as providing a wash of colour thanks to the lipstick core. Plus it looks a lot nicer than a lot of lip balms.
TIGI
When you look in the mirror and see a cloud of split ends and post-rain frizz, a little hair oil is the only thing that will calm, smooth and nourish your poor hair. This one is small and discreet, making it a perfect addition to any desk.
MAC
If we're called out to a last-minute event, a slick of this creamy eye pencil is enough to make us look as though we've made an effort.
Goody
We love these hair elastics because they don't look as awful on our wrists as the garishly-coloured versions we used to be plagued by. Plus, the metal bar gives a ponytail a chic finish, we think.
March seems to be the month of mixed weather conditions for 2013, with sunny skies and snow showers causing our hair to fly into a frenzy. Accordingly we're getting through bottles of hair oil and packs of Goody hair elastics to keep it in check, whilst a great new eye liner, a finishing powder and a lip balm with a twist are all aiding us when it comes to make-up.
